About this event in the Jura in Poligny
Two generations confronting silences
At the Chapelle de la Congrégation in Poligny, Collectif Gwen presents Vivante, a theatre performance in words and music. Hayat and Léa, a grandmother and her granddaughter, are its two central figures: two women both distant and close, victims of silences that have lasted too long.
Hayat and Léa awaken memory to reinvent each other. Playing together becomes their way of outwitting misfortune. Alongside them, three men, ghostly musicians, listen to them and accompany them with song and music.
This family story unfolds as a journey through time and space, a confidence shared for tomorrow and a lesson in shared humanity. Faced with the threat of retreating into oneself, Vivante offers a universal attempt at healing: through speech, poetry and music, restoring bonds between the living and with their past.
The performance is adapted from Je suis vivante by Simon Grangeat. It lasts 1 hour and is intended for audiences aged 11 and over.
