About this event in the Jura in Premanon
A snow globe in the tropics
At Espace des Mondes Polaires in Premanon, the Tuesday workshop ‘make your own snow globe’ imagines an icy land where everything is out of place: because of climate change, polar animals find themselves surrounded by coconut palms rather than snowflakes.
Children create a miniature diorama in a jar using paper and modelling clay. With this creation, Espace des Mondes Polaires moves to the tropics!
The jar and taking part
You may bring your own jar or a translucent dome, without a label and 15 cm tall. This is optional.
The workshop is for children aged 8 and over, accompanied by an adult. Children can spend as long as they wish on the activity, depending on their interest. The price is €5.
Booking is required by calling 03 39 50 80 20 or emailing contact@espacedesmondespolaires.org.
