Clearing a bank of the étang au Curé
In Bersaillin, “Time for the pond” invites you to take part in a work party to clear a bank of the étang au Curé. This work aims to preserve the exceptional flora and fauna of these habitats. Taking part also offers an opportunity to discover traditional fish farming management in the ponds of Bresse: the work on the bank is thus accompanied by an introduction to these management practices.
A work party as part of Chantiers d’automne
Students on the BTS Nature Management and Conservation course at the Lycée de Montmorrot will co-lead the work party. It is part of Chantiers d’automne, in partnership with Pisciculutre des marais and the Lycée de Montmorrot.
Participation and welcome
The work party is open to those aged 8 and over. Places are limited, so registration is essential. Hot drinks and croissants are provided free of charge.
