About this event in the Jura in Saint-Claude
Music and conversations about respite for parents
In Saint-Claude, the Médiathèque le Dôme hosts music workshops and a chat stand on respite for parents as part of the Mental Health Information Weeks, known as SISM.
The programme features three activities
- an introductory music workshop for children aged 0 to 6;
- a musical nap for adults;
- a chat stand devoted to respite for parents.
SISM, an annual awareness-raising event
The Mental Health Information Weeks raise public awareness of mental health every year. Their varied activities encourage discussion, help tackle misconceptions and introduce local resources and those working in the field.
Mental health concerns everyone: it is part of our overall health and influences our thoughts, emotions and behaviour in everyday life. Like physical health, it changes throughout our lives and deserves to be protected.
An initiative within the Local Health Contract
This event forms part of the Haut-Jura Local Health Contract (CLS), led by the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Jura. In partnership with local stakeholders, this contract delivers prevention and health promotion initiatives to improve the wellbeing of residents of the Pays du Haut-Jura.
The areas covered include prevention, access to healthcare, mental health and young people’s health. Promoting physical activity and environmental health are also among the issues addressed by the CLS.
