About this event in the Jura in Bois-d'Amont
Looking back at the exhibition that gave rise to the museum
Fifty years ago, ‘History of Woodcraft’ opened in Désiré Lacroix's former workshop. The exhibition's considerable success subsequently made it possible to establish the Musée de la Boissellerie.
On Saturday 14 November, the museum celebrates this anniversary by devoting an entire day to its founding exhibition. For the occasion, this day replaces the usual guided tours.
Images, screenings and conversation
The programme looks back at this history through a film and photographs of Bois-d’Amont in days gone by. There will also be opportunities for conversation and sharing.
- Screenings of the film ‘History of Woodcraft’ by Raphaël; times will be announced later.
- A photographic exhibition devoted to Bois-d’Amont in days gone by.
- Refreshment stall, drinks and snacks.
- Conversation and sharing.
The anniversary gathering
This day takes place at the Musée de la Boissellerie d’Amont, in Bois-d’Amont in the Haut-Jura, on Saturday 14 November. The museum invites everyone to come along in large numbers to celebrate the exhibition's fiftieth anniversary.
