At Commenailles library, the Photo Embroidery Workshop brings thread together with images from the past. Forgotten postcards and black-and-white photographs become the basis for little works of art through embroidery.
A detail, a pattern, a word
As inspiration strikes, embroidery can highlight a detail in an image, add a pattern or bring a word into view. These additions offer a fresh reading of the cards and photographs: each stitch brings renewed enchantment to the past and tells a new story.
