When fragrances meet chocolate
In Darbonnay, La Bulle à parfums offers “Perfumes & Chocolates”, an unusual sensory activity in the Jura. Tiphaine FOUGERE, a former perfumery laboratory technician, guides this fragrant and indulgent exploration, presented as an exclusive, unprecedented experience rich in emotion.
The workshop brings together luxury perfumery and fine chocolate-making. It combines the art of fragrance composition with excellence in taste, bringing the world of the perfumer together with that of the M.O.F. The limited group size allows for a personalised experience devoted to awakening the senses and exploring the connections between these two worlds.
Three stages of exploration
- Discover the art of perfume
This introduction allows you to discover the language of perfumes and learn to distinguish fragrance families: floral, woody, oriental, gourmand… It draws on rare raw materials and perfumers' creations. Particular attention is paid to gourmand perfumes, whose fragrances evoke chocolate, vanilla and sweet notes.
- Taste Hirsinger chocolates
The tasting brings together a selection of exceptional chocolates from the renowned Maison Hirsinger, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (M.O.F.). It invites you to learn to decipher the complex aromas and deep flavours of artisan-quality chocolate.
- Play with matching notes
At the heart of the workshop, the search for the perfect pairing takes the form of a sensory challenge: recognising the notes of spices, fruit or flowers present both in the perfume and in the chocolate being tasted. This game offers a special opportunity to discover the raw materials behind the success of perfumery and chocolate-making.

The experience lasts around 2 hours. It accommodates a minimum of 4 adults and a maximum of 8 adults. Bookings must be made 48 hours in advance.
