About this event in the Jura in Dole
Happiness according to Olivier de Benoist
At La Commanderie in Dole, Olivier de Benoist puts the search for happiness at the heart of his show. His starting point is a paradox: he was looking for happiness, but found a family. Yet what he considers a temporary setback is not enough to divert this incorrigible optimist from his goal.
So here he is, embarking on a desperate quest for bliss. Family and happiness are at the centre of this memorable journey of discovery, from which he draws a very personal moral. In his view, it could be summed up as follows: “To live happily, let's keep out of sight, certainly, but above all far away from one's wife and children.”
Writers and running time
The show is written by Olivier de Benoist, Paul-Marie Debrie and Jérôme Daran. It runs for 1 hour 30 minutes.
