About this event in the Jura in Arbois
Understanding fungi in the field
In Arbois, the mycology outing on Saturday 24 October 2026 is devoted to the biodiversity of Jura fungi. Organised as part of the Natura 2000 site programme, this educational activity offers an immersive field experience for those curious about nature and fungi enthusiasts.
Discovering the species is accompanied by explanations of their essential roles in ecosystems and in our activities. The outing thus explores both the diversity of fungi and the place they occupy.
A route guided by specialists
The outing is led by Andgelo Monbert from CBN BFC, Pascal Collin, representing CCAPS, and members of the Société de mycologie et des amis de la nature de la ville et du canton d’Arbois.
The route covers approximately 2 to 3 kilometres. It is open to everyone.
What to bring on the outing
The announcement invites you to get your basket ready. Suitable walking shoes, waterproof clothing and a packed lunch are also recommended.
Your visit to the wine-growing area can also be an opportunity to look for other nature outings in the Jura.
