A recreated forge in Marigny

The Musée de la Forge du Moulin is in Marigny, a small village near Lac de Chalain. Daniel Duthion, a scrap metal dealer at heart, has faithfully recreated a blacksmith's workshop there.

Old tools and machinery

On your visit, you can admire many tools from bygone days. A mechanism can also be seen in the adjoining building: it is capable of powering all the equipment needed for blacksmiths' work. The recreated workshop and this mechanism thus offer two perspectives on the forge's equipment.
