About this event in the Jura in Saint-Claude
A guided tour of Marine Wallon's landscapes
In Saint-Claude, the Musée de l’Abbaye is offering a guided tour of the temporary exhibition ‘Marine Wallon – That Place’. Her colourful landscapes lie on the boundary between figuration and abstraction: they present unexpected spaces to the viewer, flowing with an energy carried by colours and forms.
Oil paintings and pastels
The exhibition brings together oil paintings and pastels by Marine Wallon. In these works, colours and forms seem to be in motion, creating vibrant atmospheres. Viewers are invited to let their gaze wander through each landscape, venture into it and feel the energy flowing through it.
The experience is both contemplative and immersive. Colour and gesture become paths towards rediscovering the world around us, through landscapes that oscillate between representation and abstraction.
