About this event in the Jura in Salins-les-Bains
Christophe, between a brace and discovering music
In Salins-les-Bains, in the media library's cinema, Écran Mobile de Bourgogne Franche Comté is screening “Le Corset”. This animated film by Louis Clichy, made in France and Belgium, features the voices of Gary Clichy, Rod Paradot and Brune Moulin. With a running time of 1 hour 30 minutes, it is for ages 7 and over.
The story takes place on a farm in the heart of Beauce. Christophe is 11 and follows in his father's footsteps. Yet at school, at home and on the tractor, he leans over and falls. To keep straight, he has to wear a brace.
As the farm goes through difficult times, Christophe grows up as best he can. Discovering music and meeting Clara open up a new perspective: with her, anything seems possible.
A travelling cinema network
This screening is part of the work of Écran Mobile, a mutual travelling cinema network with 24 screening venues in Franche-Comté. With Art et Essai status and the Jeune Public and Patrimoine & Répertoire accreditations, it offers quality cinema open to everyone.
The network brings films to areas and audiences far from conventional cinema provision. It supports these screenings with film literacy activities and initiatives connecting films with their audiences.
In each partner municipality, local contacts — associations, local authorities, schools and others — help support this project. Écran Mobile is a service within the cultural sector of the Ligue de l’enseignement de Bourgogne Franche-Comté.
