Jur’halloween offers a real-life ghost hunt in Arbois and Poligny. With your smartphone and the Jur’Aventures app, set off in search of ghosts alongside Lucas, Léa and Léo. Combining chills and fun, this activity can be enjoyed with family or friends. On 31 October, participants are invited to come in fancy dress for an even more immersive experience.
In Arbois, the spirit of the Vouivre
The terrifying ghost hunt in Arbois takes the form of a trail through the town, blending history and legend. In its dark alleyways, the search for the spirit of the Vouivre immerses you in the mysterious atmosphere of this Jura town.
In Poligny, the haunted fountains
Hunting in Troubled Waters in Poligny draws on a local tale: spirits are said to haunt certain fountains. They are believed to be the souls of the Delanuit family, turning into ghosts at nightfall. Your mission is to find these creatures so that the people of Poligny can enjoy peace and quiet once again.
Preparing for the hunt
Before setting off, download the JUR’AVENTURES app and make sure your smartphone is fully charged. Bring clothing and footwear suitable for walking and the weather. For night-time trails, remember to bring a torch.
Most trails can be followed all year round. Some, however, are particularly enjoyable at dusk or during Halloween, for a more authentic atmosphere.

During the hunt, take care to respect nature and the places you pass through. Leave no litter behind and stay on the marked paths.
