In Arbois, « Femmes des terres » opens a discussion about food and the lives of women farmers, with a local female market gardener present.
About this event in the Jura in Arbois
Women farmers' lives at the heart of a film screening and discussion
Collective organisation and sharing knowledge
« Femmes des terres » looks in particular at how women organise collectively. It examines how passing on and sharing knowledge can foster their independence and create spaces of support. This opportunity to build shared resources is one of the subjects explored by the film.
This is a collective film from 2025, associated with Ingénieurs Sans Frontières, lasting 54 minutes. After the screening, there will be a discussion with a local female market gardener present. The screening and discussion thus connects the stories shown on screen with a conversation involving this local professional.
A prelude to the Festival des Solidarités
This gathering also paves the way for the Festival des Solidarités in Arbois, scheduled from 13 November to 13 December. Over the course of a month, several events will offer opportunities to explore solidarity, inequalities and social issues.
As part of this continuation, a second film screening and discussion has notably been announced for 20 November. It will focus on the film « Pilleurs de terre ».
