In Dole, the Maison Natale de Louis Pasteur hosts the family workshop “The science of colours”, for ages 4–7. Its starting point: colours, which are everywhere in our daily lives, are a perception, a sensation and a visual experience all at once.
They also find their way into our vocabulary. French expressions include seeing red, laughing yellow (giving a forced laugh), turning white as a sheet, green with fear or blue with anger: these expressions give colours another place in everyday life.
