About this event in the Jura in Salins-les-Bains
Two Japanese wellbeing practices
At Therma Salina in Salins-les-Bains, Mathieu Jourdan, a Shiatsu specialist accredited by the SPS, is organising a session devoted to Dô-In and Shiatsu.
Originating in Japan, these two practices belong to the field of wellbeing, just like Onsen (温泉), the name given to Japanese thermal baths.
Movement, self-massage and pressure
Dô-In (導引) combines simple, gentle, re-energising movements with self-massage techniques.
Shiatsu (指圧) is a massage technique that uses finger pressure at specific points on the body. Its aim is to restore the free circulation of vital energy through the body.
These practices are not medical procedures and are not a substitute for medical care.
Participation details
Dô-In and Shiatsu are open to everyone; under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. They can be practised standing, on the floor and/or on a chair, individually or in pairs.
Sessions last 1 hour 30 minutes. They take place on 16/10 and 13/11, with registration required and payment on site.
