Build, take apart and start again
From 4 April to 3 January, the Musée du Jouet in Moirans-en-Montagne presents the exhibition “Construction Toys: From Cube to Pixel”. Stacking, fitting together, assembling: these actions are at the heart of an exhibition inviting young and old to imagine, create and start again, over and over.
Just a few pieces open up a wealth of possibilities. They can become a tower, a house or a bridge, or even a completely outlandish construction. Building is therefore not limited to a single outcome: it allows you to give shape to different ideas, take them apart and try others.
Play for children and adults
For children, construction toys call on dexterity, imagination and patience. Through play, they also learn to observe, think and cooperate. These different aspects accompany the journey from separate pieces to an assembled construction.
Adults also have a place in this exhibition. For them, building offers a moment of relaxation, but also a challenge and shared enjoyment.
At the Musée du Jouet, the idea is to play, build and take apart. Above all, the exhibition highlights the pleasure of having fun together, whatever your age, with toys that invite you to create and start again.
