Shaping clay with Sonia FROBERT

On Wednesday 21 October 2026, Graines d’artisans dedicates its workshops to pottery with Sonia FROBERT, at the Atelier des Savoir-Faire in Ravilloles.

These introductory sessions are part of the events offered on Wednesdays during the school holidays. Craftspeople invite children to discover their trades through hands-on, creative workshops, with several time slots tailored to different ages. Everyone takes home their own creation.

Two approaches according to age

  • Ages 5–10, from 14:00 to 15:30: an introduction to clay modelling and sculpture.
  • Ages 11–15, from 16:00 to 17:30: shaping a piece by hand and discovering the potter’s wheel.

Getting to grips with the material and creating

The workshops offer a chance to discover pottery, get a feel for clay and unleash creativity. Depending on their age, ideas and tastes, the young participants can make unique pieces in unfired clay and take their creation home.
